Our Programs
Real Support. Real Impact.
Programs That Meet People Where They Are
At WINGS, safety and healing begin long before crisis—and continue long after. Our programs are built to meet survivors and families wherever they are, offering the tools, guidance, and community they need to rebuild their lives. From emergency response to long-term empowerment, every service is designed to provide real support and lasting impact.
Help Line
24-Hour Help Line
Our 24-Hour Help Line is always open—day or night—for victims, friends, and family members seeking answers, resources, or simply someone to listen. For those in immediate danger, WINGS operates an 18-bed emergency shelter where victims and their children can find safety, privacy, and care.
Each person receives help creating a
personalized safety plan to reduce risks and begin the process of healing. At WINGS, safety isn’t just a place—it’s a path forward.
Emergency Shelter
Rebuilding Supportive Foundations
When home is no longer a safe place, the WINGS Emergency Shelter offers immediate safety, stability, and support. Our 18-bed facility provides short-term housing for victims of domestic violence and their children, giving families a secure environment where they can rest, regroup, and begin to heal.
The shelter is more than just a roof—it’s a space of compassion and understanding. Residents receive essentials such as meals, clothing, and hygiene items, along with access to advocates who provide emotional support and guidance throughout their stay. Each family works with our team to create a personalized safety and recovery plan, helping them take practical steps toward lasting independence.
Legal Advocacy
Guidance Through Every Step
Navigating the legal system can feel overwhelming. WINGS advocates stand beside survivors through police interviews, court hearings, and meetings with district attorneys, ensuring no one has to face the process alone.
Our
case managers help clients set goals, access vital community services, and take concrete steps toward independence. Advocates also assist in obtaining
Protective Orders to help keep abusers away and provide
medical accompaniment for those who need emotional or logistical support at hospitals or clinics.
Family Empowerment
Building Supportive Foundations
Healing grows through empowerment. WINGS offers support groups for adults and children, creating safe spaces to share experiences, learn coping skills, and build confidence. Our life skills and parenting classes help clients strengthen their ability to manage daily life, nurture healthy relationships, and regain stability.
To support families in transition, WINGS provides
transportation,
relocation assistance, and
financial support for housing, essentials, and vital records. These tangible resources help survivors move forward—toward security, self-sufficiency, and renewed hope.
